Quantix ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your data. This Privacy Policy explains how our Google Sheets™ infrastructure and scripts access, use, store, and handle your information.

 

  1. Data Accessed

          Quantix follows the principle of least privilege, accessing only the minimum data required:

  • Active Spreadsheet Data: Using the .../auth/spreadsheets.currentonly scope, we access data within the specific Google Sheet where you have enabled the Add-on.
  • User Interface (UI): Using the .../auth/script.container.ui scope, we provide custom menus, sidebars, and dialog boxes for your interaction.
  • User Email Address: We access your Google email address to verify license status and manage the secure connection between your file and our reporting engine.

 

  1. Data Usage

          Quantix operates on a "Hub and Spoke" data model to provide centralized, automated reporting.

  • Automated Data Sync: Once you grant permission via the standard Google Sheets™ "Allow Access" prompt for IMPORTRANGE, selected data from your "Spoke" (Source Sheet) is automatically mirrored to our "Hub" (Central Spreadsheet engine).
  • Purpose: This data is used to aggregate KPIs, generate Gantt chart visualizations and Traffic, and create quarterly/yearly consolidated dashboards.
  • No Manual Trigger Required: This synchronization is persistent to ensure your reporting dashboards are always up to date without requiring manual user intervention.
  • Limited Use Disclosure: Quantix’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

 

  1. Data Sharing

          We do not sell, trade, or share your Google user data with third parties.

  • User data is never used for advertising, marketing, or creditworthiness assessments.

  • The only external communication is a secure license check to our private API to verify your subscription status. This request contains only your email address and no spreadsheet content.

 

  1. Data Storage & Protection

  • The Quantix Environment: To ensure maximum security and prevent unauthorized modification of the reporting logic, all Spoke and Hub sheets are created and hosted within the Provider's secure Google Workspace environment.

  • Access Management: The Provider remains the Owner of all files. The Client is added as an authorized user to their specific Spoke sheet. This centralized ownership model ensures that scripts and formulas remain protected and that data synchronization remains uninterrupted.

  • Security Measures: We leverage Google’s enterprise-grade security, including encryption at rest and in transit (via HTTPS/TLS).

  • Access Control: Access to the "Hub" spreadsheet is strictly limited to the Quantix administrative account; no other users or third parties have access to this data.

 

  1. Data Retention & Deletion
  • Retention: We retain your email address only for as long as you maintain an active account or subscription with Quantix.
  • Deletion: You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Please contact helloquantix@gmail.com. Data will be permanently removed from our "Hub" and licensing database within 7 business days of the request.
  • Revocation: You can stop all data synchronization immediately by revoking "Access" within the Google Sheets™ IMPORTRANGE settings or via your Google Account Permissions.
